I will stamp all over 'legitimate fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.

Ex two-time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.

Taking Aim at Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters met for the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
